Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, attorney Kathleen Georgevich concentrates her law practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, Adult and Minor Guardianships, Trust Administration, Residential Real Estate Transactions, Criminal Record Expungement, and Small Business needs in Lake, Cook, McHenry and DuPage counties.
Prior to graduating from Loyola (Chicago) Law School in 2012, Kathleen worked as a payroll consultant. After graduation, Kathleen worked with an estate planning and administration attorney in Lincolnwood. When that attorney was appointed to the bench, Kathleen opened her own law practice with a mission to be a neighborhood practice that addresses the needs of families and small business owners.
In addition to running her own practice, Kathleen volunteers her time with the Center for Disability & Elder Law (CDEL), Cabrini Green Legal Aid (CGLA), and First Defense Legal Aid (FDLA). While her office is located in Northfield, Kathleen’s clients and cases are from towns as varied as Ingleside, Glen Ellyn, Barrington, and Chicago. She is an active member of the Illinois State, Lake County, and Chicago Bar Associations.
In her time away from the office Kathleen enjoys traveling (favorite destinations include China, Ireland and Germany), outdoor activities such as cycling and running, and cooking her family’s favorite dishes.
